American Piledriving Equipment's
Pile Driving School
Building the World's Foundations!

History:

It has been a dream of American Piledriving Equipment, Inc.'s President, John White, to have a pile driving school. In June of 2000, John and Dick Sadler met with Vince Rainier from the local Carpenters Apprenticeship & Training Group of Washington state and formed the first ever pile driving school, complete with crane and live pile driving. This new learning center educates newcomers to the industry while also providing advanced training in all areas of deep foundation construction.

The 5 day school begins with the latest technology. The massive amount of knowledge is expertly presented using a combination of computer generated slide shows, videos and handouts. At APE's facilities, students see actual hammer manufacturing in process, including welding a machining of vibratory pile driver/extractors, drills, pile leads and other related equipment. Students participate with APE employees as they prepare pile hammers for shipment to actual job sites around the country.

The overnight success of the program has grown into a course on a national scale. APE has set up an actual live training center, complete with crane, sheet piles and pile driving equipment.
