The Model 400 Tandem is powered by two CAT 3412E 990 HP power units.
One pendant controls both power units. Pendant controls engine speed,
clamp on/off, and start/stop functions. Power units are equipped with
Mobil 224 vegetable hydraulic oil.
The hammer can be shipped in one piece, however the caisson beam and
clamps must be assembled on the job. The two power units have one
short hose that connects the two hydraulic tanks together. For more
