CPM Constructors of Freeport Maine was looking for a vibratory hammer that was light enough for their smaller cranes but still powerful enough to do big jobs. The APE Model 100 Vibratory Hammer was their choice. A 2,200 inch/lb hammer weighing in at 7,900 lbs suspended weight, the Model 100 is the lightest mid-sized vibro on the market. Although it is light, it still is capable of doing big work. The pictures show the Model 100 on CPM’s project at the Lyman-Morse Boatbuilding facility in Thomaston, Maine. CPM is constructing a new boat lift for Lyman-Morse, which includes driving 50ft long PZ35 sheetpiles.
